Mr Karan Jolly

Mr. Karan Jolly is a Consultant ENT Surgeon specialising in nose, sinus, and minimally invasive endoscopic skull base surgery, as well as facial plastic surgery. He holds a substantive NHS consultant position at Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital NHS Trust.
Mr. Jolly graduated from the University of Birmingham Medical School in 2011, continuing his higher surgical training in the West Midlands. After completing his ENT training, he was selected for a prestigious fellowship in advanced rhinology, sinus, and minimally invasive skull base surgery at the renowned University of British Columbia, Vancouver General Hospital, and St. Paul’s Sinus Centre in Vancouver, Canada.
Accredited by both the American Rhinological Society and the North American Skull Base Society, this fellowship enhanced his expertise in diagnosing and managing complex inflammatory, benign, and malignant sinus, nose, and skull base conditions.
His specialist skillset includes the management of complex skull base and sinonasal tumours, complex frontal sinus surgery, minimally invasive sinus surgery, orbital endoscopic surgery, and novel transorbital endoscopic techniques. In addition, he has expertise in emerging treatments such as biologic therapies for nasal polyps and the management of vasomotor rhinitis.
During his training, he also undertook observerships with world-leading facial plastic surgeons in Beverly Hills, California, and completed the British Rhinological Society Advanced Rhinology Fellowship programme.
He continues to be actively involved in research and has successfully published numerous articles in prestigious journals, presenting his findings both nationally and internationally. Mr Jolly has also been awarded a national medal by the Royal College of Surgeons in recognition of his ongoing commitment and interest in research. He was successfully been awarded a PhD in Anterior Skull Base surgery and reconstruction. He remains dedicated to providing a high level of care for his patients and consistently strives to deliver the best possible outcomes.
